Implementasi Budaya Antre melalui Media Kereta Sabar untuk Meningkatkan Kesabaran Anak Usia 3–4 Tahun

Abstract


Kesabaran merupakan bagian penting dari perkembangan sosial-emosional anak usia dini, khususnya dalam kemampuan menunggu giliran atau menerapkan budaya antre. Namun, berdasarkan hasil observasi awal di KB Putri Indah Dampit, kemampuan kesabaran anak usia 3–4 tahun masih tergolong rendah, ditandai dengan perilaku tidak sabar seperti berebut, memotong antrean, dan sulit mengendalikan emosi. Kondisi tersebut dipengaruhi oleh pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional dan kurang menggunakan media konkret yang sesuai dengan karakteristik belajar anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan budaya antre melalui media Kereta Sabar guna meningkatkan kesabaran anak usia 3–4 tahun di KB Putri Indah Dampit. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 anak usia 3–4 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, dan penilaian perkembangan kesabaran anak. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kesabaran anak pada setiap siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media Kereta Sabar efektif dalam meningkatkan kesabaran anak. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan persentase anak yang mencapai kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dan Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB), dari kondisi awal hingga mencapai 93,33% pada akhir siklus II. Selain itu, perilaku tertib dalam antre dan pengendalian emosi anak juga mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan.
